Phindile Khumalo is an inspiration! She is a single mother who was volunteering when she started her studies with Caversham in 2012. She completed her National Diploma in 2015 and is now not only employed as a Grade R teacher and team leader at a preschool in Clermont, a township outside Durban, but is also mentoring other Caversham students!
She impressed all at her Graduation ceremony with her outstanding address during which she said, “I would like to wish all at Caversham well in all the work that you do. Inspiring and empowering us with distinctive knowledge. I’m truly proud about taking a decision to join the Institute. It has become worth my while. With all that I’ve learned I feel like I can take over the world of the ECD, if not the world as a whole. I’ll never forget the years I have spent at Caversham Institute.
I would like to be in a space where I could empower more young women like me about ECD. The possibilities are endless. I want to own my own ECD centre one day. What I have learned from Caversham Institute is solid enough to build it with tremendous confidence. I will keep looking for other people and convince them to join this inspirational Institute.
I can truly say I am an INSPIRATION.
We agree!!
